Default Parts Help for '84 Olds Ciera Diesel Engine

I would like to ask for help in locating or sourcing some critical parts for the Ciera 4.3 V6 diesel engine (not the one modified from the Olds 350 engine as the parts aren't interchangeable). These motors aren't as common and thus more difficult to find parts for. These are some of the main components I will need for the engine rebuild:

    Pair of Headgaskets (obtained)
    Intake Manifold Gaskets
    Oil Pump

Some of the interior parts that may be easier to find:

Inside light dome cover (original one melted, has hole in the plastic)
Steering wheel (original has cracked plastic, steel showing in several spots)
Coolant recovery tank, as the original one is missing the cap, and full of nasty soot inside the bottle and out

This is about all I can think of for now...more may be added to this list as I discover more stuff but for the engine stuff that has priority. I definitely want to work on getting this rare diesel back on the road. I'll update this post as necessary.

Finding engine parts is likely going to be a tough row to hoe. Turbokinetic is the only other one I know of that has one for sure, might be one other here that does. He is a mechanical wizard and might have some insight where alterative parts will work (substitute for OEM stuff).

The oil pump might be still in the century coupe... the only thing with the junkyard its a gamble that it works and we only get 1 month to return it if its bad. however i think i can find all of the interior parts... I secured the headlights for you yesterday. send me a pic of the dome light, the century might have the same one. i also looked for a newer cluster and found only regular ones but the cluster in the century coupe has more gauges... i took some photos and will post them when the download is complete

That would be great. David will be the one doing the engine restoration which I hope I can assist him with. I figure if there's a will, there's a way.

You could try to go for the oil pump if you can and see what condition its in. Thanks for getting the headlights, can't wait to replace those soon. I took a pic of the dome light here:

Also here's the steering wheel....not in great shape..

Gonna need some new visors as the original ones are pretty brittle and the passenger side mirror is cracked (forgot to take the pic of that).

    Hope these pics are useful

It's funny because I picked up for myself a coolant recovery cap off the 6000 i got your headlights from, because mine is cracked.. I noticed the century coupes cap was in fine shape, as you can see in the first pic. I'll snag that for you as well... as for the steering wheel... too bad its in such rough shape, its cool looking... I have been messing with unwanted car parts.. (turning parts to art). perhaps you could send me that steering wheel and your old cluster if you don't want it trade a bit lol

Wow the entire steering column is gone from that Century..lol

You're more than welcome to have the steering wheel and cluster, I surely won't need it hanging around once I get them replaced!

I picked up the emblems for the ciera today.. didn't cost anything. I have "Cutlass Ciera" for both sides and two "Oldsmobile" for a hood (all the ones on the back were in poor shape)

Awesome thanks for picking those up! I got the headgaskets, still in search of the intake manifold gaskets, and I need to get a vacuum pump since the one on my car died and since the brakes won't function without it I need to get that soon.
