Thanks for the depthgoing answer. I was hoping there'd be some aftermarket production of a complete brake conversion set... which would make it a lot easier for people to get proper brakes on their a-bodies.

Where I live (Peru S-America) there was probably no STE ever imported. There's only one Eurosport in the whole country, which was imported 14 years after it was produced.... so my chances to find anything here that bolts right on, are beyond the red-line of "that's never going to happen".

A-bodies I think sit way too high.
I guess you have never taken an A-body to the Andean mountains and driven over landslides that are 6ft high on top of the tarmac....

I did, resulting in the oilpan being knocked up and cut badly... so my view is that... well... either the A-bodies are too low... or I would be wise to travel such roads in a modified SUV.
    Old like good wine...

Mike D! whasssup? Good to hear from you dude. I would be interested in one of those tachs, one for a V6 of course! Set one aside and I'll get ahold of you.
I'm sure you'll be a popular guy with all of that stuff, especially the rear disc kit.

Damn, now I guess I dont have to ask......I'm NEVER going to find a 2.5 tach! I would be interested in the springs for the older cars though. Would they fit a four cylinder car?

Me personally, I wouldnt upgrade the brakes just because those rims, with the lowering kit, look damn sexxy on that car. I would probly just go around and replace the molding/trim on the car, and drive it. That car is a beaut man. And from me that means alot, cause I dont normally say that type of stuff about non-pontiac cars.

I have a couple and I think one even works. I can check if you would like.

Regardless, I am still VERY interested in the newer springs, at least. Not sure if the rear bar will fit and I think Addco still sells new ones for my van.

Yes! Let me know! I have been looking for a 2.5 tach fpr quite a while, I have a 2.8 tach that I got a while ago...its packed away with my police speedo! (using the police speedo would be kind of a waste on my Iron Duke car )

No Mike, I haven't been on the messenger thing since I rebuilt my pc last spring. Too many other things going on now and no time for that. Its easier just to pick up the phone!
