    A couple tidbits to report.

Installed my new platinum plugs and wires today; the ones in the back were such a pain to get to! Also put in a bunch of headliner clips so no more sagging.

I bought some window guide from Rockauto and they don't work! I ordered both the ones that are suggested on Rockauto, and the ones that OldGold mentioned in an old thread and neither work. I feel like my windows will never get back on track!

    Are those 5x115 or 5x100?

I can get you the part number for the clip. Are you sure you got the wrong one? I ordered a couple for my car from the local parts store and prepaid (special order). When they came in I picked up the box, when I got home instead of two window clips I got two boxes of clips. So I have a couple dozen now.

The rims are 5x115. I would love some help with the clips; I've ordered 3 different types of clips (that are either listed online as being compatible, or by a member here) and none of them fit correctly. Any help is appreciated!

The window guides I have are Dorman 700-875. They fit correctly on the windows on my 88 Celeb.

Yeah, they aren't hard to source. I think mine were from the "Help!" rack.

Just got back from a 3,500 km (two week) roadtrip.
The celebrity drove like a champ and got me some great gas mileage; especially considering the trunk and backseat were PACKED!

Those are the exact ones I ordered. Those same clips I've got it to fit on my drivers side window, but refuses to work on the passenger side.
Doesn't really make sense to me.

Old center caps + black vinyl = beautiful new center caps

    Old Vs New

How the celeb looks right now with the new wheels, blue tuner lugs and black caps:

i had mt old clips and i tool them off and then put em back on with some black window trim glue and it stuck well so they stay on track again and i pushed it back in the track and it clicked.

After over a year neglecting this thread, I have very little change to report. I still have a huge box of replacement parts to install, and with the Celeb no longer on daily driver duty, she just kinda sits there under a car cover.

I'm getting myself a set of those Eibach lowering springs, but I also need to fix some surface rust on the rear passenger wheel well before it gets worse!
