I agree, the two tone paint combination looks good. All you need on this one is a red stripe around the belt line, and the EUROSPORT logos on the doors, to confuse everybody!

    Wow, Zaloryn!:

I think you have a rare car. The STE model is the performance model of the a-bodies. It will have everything on it, making it the most expensive car Pontiac carried at the time. Does it have the road side assistance kit that came with every STE? Also, does the electronic ride control work? What condition are t he seats in? What did you pay for th car?
I own two 85 STE's and I thoroughly enjoy the balance of room, handling, braking, luxury, quality it brought with it. I would take my STE up to the mountains after work just to fly around the corners. What fun it is! Your car was the first year for the rear disc bakes and the digital gauge cluster with a tachometer. It was the last year for the carbuerator. I recently went from Tacoma, WA to S. CA and back up 395 to WA. What fun it was! If you need any insights on the car, let me know. And, Congratulations.

Thanks very much to all the compliments!

It has a 2.8 V6, carbureted. TH125C transmission. Car has 121,000 miles, engine rebuilt 20,000 miles ago. Still has the accessory kit in the trunk.

On a side note, my 1990 Cutlass Ciera has BFGoodrich Radial T/As. They are 215/60-14.

The Pontiac rides real nice. Today I just installed two new Monroe Struts. The old ones were so bad that the car took bumps like a speedboat. Pretty much everything works on it, even the R12 in the A/C is cold! It is running just a little rich. Rich enough to set off Code 45 intermittently...there is also a slight tick whenever I am accelerating. Sounds like the back exhaust manifold is leaking.

Seats are REAL comfortable, the driver seat is torn, but I look forward to riding in it everytime because it's so relaxing!

Looking good man. Love three car. Reminds me of my 85 STE I had many years ago. Although mine was EFI. Loved that car.

Someone mentioned these looked like Lumina wheels, these are genuine STE wheels, they even have Pontiac cast into them! My favorite feature of these wheels is the "Four Wheel Disc" center caps.

Wow a fully carpeted trunk... My Ciera has this flimsy stuff on the floor and part of the sides.

What's that thing with the on/off switch? Also what's in the accessory kit?

The switch is for the air compressor which inflates the rear air shocks. The switch has a valve provision for airing up other items.

To add, the accessory kit has an air hose to use to hook up to the switch. There is also some various hookups for inflating various items to use on the air hose. (Basketball, tire, etc)

It has some gloves, rags, glow sticks, and a flashlight which is powered by the cigar lighter. Unfortunately, the light doesn't work. Pretty cool deal though!
