    Default 2.8 (ho) or 2.8?????

    is there a differnt firing order for 2.8 li (HO) 2bbl than just the regular 2.8li 2bbl. my car is a x vin. but it could have been swaped vin z motor. can any one shed some light on this for me. im stumped on getting this car running.

    AFAIK all the 60° V6 engines fire 1-2-3-4-5-6.
    The 2.8 standard and HO have dofferent heads and valve size. Same otherwise.

    Just curious, wasn't the 2.8 li (HO) released in extremely limited quantities?

    As far as I know, the HO was only used in two A-bodies, the 83-84 6000 STE as the standard engine, and the 84 Celeb Eurosport as an optional engine. 2945 of the Celebs were produced, while the 6000 STE production was much higher. 6719 in 83 & 19,236 in 84.
