Anyone come up with a higher amperage alternator swap from another vehicle that will bolt in? Any CS144s that will take the place of the CS130?

According to 60degreeV6.com the Chevy Venture got the 144 alternator, just grab the mount and any pulleys that look different. I have yet to see a real answer to this question anywhere though.
Here's what you need. The SOURCE for your high performance alternator needs...or stock if you like. You can buy the parts to do your own, or buy complete alternators from them.

I forgot the link! These guys look like the real deal. http://www.alternatorparts.com/
I have seen Alternators for a-bodies anywhere from 13-18 volts on SUMMITRACING's website ... for both 60* and 90* blocks ..
Some are even high polished chrome , for show cars but can run a couple hundred bucks ... =o they look purdy though
i do some part number referencing at work tonight. (i work at checker/ orillys auto parts) there has to be something that fits.

The CS130 is almost directly replacable with a CS144. If I remember correctly, the 3300 would be a direct-fit with a CS144 from a LN3 3800. I replaced the CS130 with a CS144 on my mom's LN3 and it was direct swap. I've put the larger-style 140 amp CS144 on my 3.8 engines and it does require some small bracket modifications to fit.

Bump to 2019 when apparently I'm the only crazy guy trying to do this.
I'm reading faint chatter about a bracket from 94-96 GM cop/hearse cars that will let me drop a CS144 right into my 3.3 89 Century... But nothing solid.
Then a nice clear post from you 8.5 years ago about the LN3. New hope! Thanks turbo!
Forgot to mention, my Ciera has the 2.2L, not the V-6...sorry guys.
I believe Summit Racing offers higher-output alternators for 60 and 90 degree V6s. Its on my list of this to get eventually.

If its a 2.2, you may be fabbing your own mounts.
