I have an 1988 cutlass ciera. I am curisous to know if it has JA1 or JA2 brakes. I looked at the trunk label, but I dont know what code means JA1 or JA2, Is there something I cam measure?

The easiest way is to look at that trunk label. JA1, means light duty. JA2, means heavy duty.

The other way is to get a MM tape measure. JA1, is to measure from the center of one lug stud, and go to the second one away (either direction) to the center again. 100mm is JA1, 115 is JA2.
