You mean the wheel covers? I don't remember hub caps being available when I shopped and bought mine new.

Standard wheel covers for 1996 Century Custom, optional on Century Special.

I've got a silver one (GM calls them Argent) on the other side, those are much easier to find from Skylarks. I have never found a chrome one locally and I have been looking for years. They are fragile too.

Covair I had those on my 95 and they were fragile and cracked the metal tabs that held the ring on broke and I lost 2 and then finally given up and took them off

Yeah fragile is right, but they sure were pretty. Gave the car that old time baby moon look. Actual baby moons with trim rings would have looked nice on these cars.

I remember them well. Very bright and very shiny. They were definitely argent, and they were standard issue in 1996 when I bought my Century. I went for the alloys because...well...I just wanted them. The alloys were rarer then, but they seemed to have survived. Or you can pimp to the 21st Century with some Chevy rims, but that's just not for me.

Just a little ribbing. I think everyone know that your baby can out corner any a-body car on the road today (or yesterday).

Well that separates the men from the boys, I guess. Boys have dogs and men have.... Buicks.
