Has anyone else experienced this? I purchased (2) new ACDelco 903-009RS Professional Ready Struts for my 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser.
All of the websites say this part # is used for both sides. After they were installed, and the car was aligned, I noticed a metal on metal sound going over speed bumps. It turns out, the coil spring on both sides is contacting the inner wall in a couple places !!!! I think it would be unusual to have received (2) faulty strut units... Any ideas??? The dimensions of all critical points of the new struts seem to be virtually identical to the original struts...
