One of your pulleys is a spring loaded tensioner or idler. It should have a fitting to insert a 3/8 or 1/2" breaker bar into it and then you push against the spring tension and that gives slack to remove the belt. Installation is the reverse of removal.

If yours has the serpentine single belt, what Sigurd said is correct.

One more question, I cannot find an image of the belt routing diagram. I suppose I could take a picture..

Another question and this may sound whacky. AC is not working on this vehicle and i have no desire to fix it. Could i install a non-AC belt (would it fit) and bypass the compressor and avoid any parasitic hp draw on the 2.5l iron duke?

I dont have an answer to that one. Looking at the belt routing, I would be worried about belt slippage on the water pump, which could lead to overheating.

What does the routing look like for a non-AC car? Does it simply bypass the AC, or is there an idler pulley to keep a similar geometry at the water pump?
