Where is my engine number?

I want my 1989 Century to be registered in France with a Collector Title (it's allowed for 30 years+ cars).
In the file, they ask for various pics, and one of the engine number.
Could one of you give me informations about where to find this on my 3300

The passenger side (rear bank), stamped on the block where the head meats the block. But I cant guarantee this info.

Or on top of the valve cover will be a sticker (likely gone)
